The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI) has declared full solidarity with the journalists who are going on strike on Wednesday to protest against poor economic conditions and unfair dismissals of journalists.
The journalists will start with a symbolic strike at their workplaces for half an hour, to be followed by a sit-in at the Journalists Syndicate from 2 pm to 5 pm and a vigil on the staircase from 5 pm to 6 pm. They will also file complaints with the Prosecutor General about their detained colleagues.
