The Patriarch of Antioch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, will visit Egypt on December 10 at the invitation of George Shihan, the bishop of the Maronites in Egypt and Sudan.
Rahi will open the new headquarters of the Maronite Diocese and consecrate the Saint Maron Church in Heliopolis, as well as the ammunition of the Saints in St. Joseph Cathedral in Daher.
He will also meet with Pope Tawadros II, the patriarch of the Coptic Catholics Ibrahim Ishac and Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayeb.
