AP president lauds Egypt’s quantum leap in construction

President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdel Rahman al Assoumi has praised the quantum leap Egypt has achieved in terms of construction over the past years.

Assoumi said the insightful vision of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the strenuous efforts of the Egyptian government have helped lay the foundation stone of the new republic.

The AP chief said he is proud of and greatly appreciates the Egyptian experiment that led to a comprehensive renaissance despite many challenges in the way.

Assoumi and an AP delegation visited the New Administrative Capital Tuesday and met Khaled Abbas, the board chairman of NAC Company.

Abbas gave a detailed explanation about the new capital as he accompanied the AP delegation on tours around the headquarters of the House of Representatives, the big mosque and the government district, as well as investment facilities.

The delegation also inspected schools and universities that were built in the new capital.

The AP granted NAC the award of the best Arab sustainable development project in 2021.
