
The Armed Forces joined on Sunday, April 5, 2026, the sons of martyrs and children who have lost their families in celebrating Orphan’s Day, in continuation of the vital societal role carried out by the Armed Forces and in affirmation of the values of solidarity and social cohesion within the community.
The events included the organization of a range of recreational, cultural, and sporting activities by the Egyptian Military Academy and the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute for Instructors, in addition to the distribution of in-kind gifts to the children.
These activities reflected a spirit of affection and national unity among the people of Egypt. The program also featured an open-top bus tour for the children to explore Egypt’s historic landmarks, as well as a Nile cruise, offering them the opportunity to enjoy the timeless beauty of the River Nile.
A number of commanders, officers, leaders from military colleges and institutes, as well as participants in civilian training courses at the academy, took part in the celebrations, underscoring the Armed Forces’ commitment to nurturing young generations as the hope of the future and a cornerstone of national development.
Expressions of joy were evident on the children’s faces, as they shared their happiness with the festive atmosphere and took commemorative photos with members of the Armed Forces, creating a warm sense of connection that left a positive and lasting impression on all in attendance.
