Bad weather keeps Alexandria seaports closed

Alexandria airport authorities have decided keeping Alexandria and Dekheila ports closed for the second day in row due to the high winds and waves.
 
Major General Adel Yassin Hammad, head of Alexandria seaport authority said the ports were closed due to the bad weather conditions and wind speed, which exceeded 33 knots, to preserve safety of ships and maritime navigation.
 
Alexandria sees al-Hosoum seasonal storms, which are accompanied by southwesterly rainy winds. It usually lasts for seven days.
