The governments of Egypt and Norway, with the support of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, will host a conference on the reconstruction of Gaza in Cairo, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
Invitations will be sent to attend the conference once an agreement on a ceasefire between Palestinians and Israelis is reached, the ministry added.
Cairo is mediating talks between Hamas and Israel. The Jewish state has launched military operations against Gaza since the beginning of July.
More than 1,900 Palestinians and 60 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the attacks.
