Meteorologists predict warm weather in Cairo on Friday, with temperatures hovering around 36 degrees centigrade, five degrees warmer than the north coast, which will be a more comfortable 31 degrees.
Upper Egypt, however, will see hot weather, with temperatures in Luxor hitting 42C and Aswan 43C, although these highs will ease significantly at night.
The wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. However, it will be stronger along the north coast and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting navigation.
Wave heights in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters, with a northwesterly surface wind.
