Child killed, 27 injured in collisions due to bad weather

A child was killed and 27 others were injured in collisions on Sunday in Beheira and Minya due to bad weather.
 
A cargo train was turned over in Alexandria, causing the suspension of traffic on the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road for two hours. No injuries or deaths were reported.
 
Alexandria witnessed heavy rainfall for the third consecutive day on Monday as part of the Christmas seasonal storm which will continue for four days, accompanied by westerly wind. The Alexandria and Dekheila straits were shutdown due to high wind speeds and high waves.
 
Alexandria sanitation company vehicles removed water from the streets to prevent traffic congestion.
 
In Minya, bad weather and heavy mist on roads led to the turnover of a microbus and the injury of 18 people.
 
Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road was blocked in Qaliubiya governorate due to the car crash between a car and truck. No deaths were reported.
 
In Beheira, a 4-year old child died and nine other children were injured after a nursery bus turned over on the Damanhur-Desouk road.
