The Dokki Misdemeanor Court in Giza set December 17th as the date for the first hearing of the appeal filed by the defense team of actor Mohamed Ramadan against his two-year prison sentence.
A lawyer had filed a report accusing Ramadan of releasing a song titled “Number One, You Halves” on YouTube without obtaining the necessary permits.
The complainant stated in the investigation report that the song contains lyrics inciting violence, demanding that legal action be taken against the actor.
The case, number 9213 of 2025, Dokki Misdemeanors, was referred to the court after the prosecution completed its review of the report and heard the statements of the parties involved.
