December set for conference on Egypt’s economic future

Al Mal-GTM, a leading private sector think tank, will hold a CEO conference at Four Seasons Nile Plaza on 1 December entitled “Egypt’s Economic Future Through the Eyes of Business Visionaries.”

Commenting on the event, Nancy Maghraby, managing director at Al Mal-GTM, said it was the time for a high-level debate on the future of economic growth in Egypt.

Maghraby said the Egyptian government has been robustly working towards tough economic reforms and austerity measures, which, she said, requires better understanding of the role of private and public sector companies through the perspectives of their CEOs.

The conference, according to Maghraby, will discuss ideas related to economic challenges, infrastructure and real estate, banking and non-banking industries, as well as challenges and growth prospects related to these industries.

The event is scheduled to host senior government officials, senior executives, industry leaders, academics and economic experts.
