Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decree designating the period from Thursday, March 19, to Monday, March 23, as an official paid holiday in observance of Eid al-Fitr.
The mandate applies to employees across all government ministries, departments, public authorities, local administration units, and companies within the public and public business sectors.
By scheduling the holiday from Thursday through Monday, the government ensured a continuous five-day break.
