Egypt recently received shipments of vaccines through “COVAX” in cooperation with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, as part of the state’s plan to expand and diversify the provision of vaccines, acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said.

He added the shipments included 2,315,910 vaccine doses, including 1,501,110 doses from Pfizer, 462,000 doses from Moderna, and 352,800 doses from AstraZeneca.
