Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with Qatari Ambassador to Egypt Tariq Ali Al Ansari the efforts exerted in the past period to present medical support to those injured in the Gaza Strip whether inside the Palestinian territories or in Egypt or Qatar.
During their meeting in the New Administrative Capital, both sides discussed means of proceeding with medical support to the Palestinian brethren.
Spokesperson for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister asserted that Egypt and Qatar have strategic ties in the different domains, pointing out that the recent period witnessed full coordination between both countries in an attempt to ease the suffering of the Palestinians.
The meeting also tackled cooperation opportunities in the field of investment in the private sector, the spokesman said, adding that the Egyptian state is working on a bundle of incentives to encourage investments in the health sector.
Meanwhile, Ansari lauded Egypt’s role in the Palestinian cause and the Egyptian support for injured Palestinians.
He added that Qatar is keen on presenting all kinds of support to ease burdens on Egypt in this regard.
