
CAIRO, Nov 23 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed on Sunday with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan ways of putting into effect the outcome of the joint planning group meeting that was lately held in Ankara.
The two diplomats also discussed preparations for the visit of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to Egypt in 2026 to preside over the second meeting of the high-level strategic cooperation council.
They exchanged viewpoints towards the developments in Gaza, underlining the need to implement the latest UNSC resolution and enable the international stabilization force to carry out its mandate.
Talks also covered Egypt’s efforts to uphold the Sharm El Sheikh peace agreement and support reconstruction in the Gaza Strip. (MENA)
