Egyptian actress Amina Khalil attended the 78th Cannes International Film Festival, host to a wide variety of international stars and films.
Khalil appeared wearing a sleeveless pink dress with her hair tied up, all complemented by simple makeup.
The opening ceremony will witness the awarding of the Honorary Palme d’Or to Robert De Niro in recognition of his long career, 14 years after he chaired the jury in 2011.
The festival will also feature the screening of Leave One Day on the opening night.
In an exceptional move, Egypt will officially return to the Cannes Film Festival through the Egypt Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival Market (Marché du film de Cannes).
