Dr. Ali Farid won the 2014 best research award of the American Journal of Medicine and the American Journal of Life Sciences for inventing the FSLYM drug for the treatment of infertility.
The American Journal of Medicine said Dr. Farid made his research without any help from government or non-governmental institutions.
This is the second time Dr. Fraid wins a best research award from two different journals.
A global pharmaceutical company contracted Dr. Farid to conduct further studies on the new drug.
