Egyptian ISIL member urges youth to join their cause

Islam Yakan, the Egyptian jihadist who joined the terrorist group, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, urged Egyptian young people to visit the jihadist websites that pledged allegiance to ISIL to get to know their thoughts and the shape of their state.

“Hear from the state itself and not from the media,” he tweeted on Monday, posting accounts of ISIL leaders to familiarize themselves with the visions and strategies for reinstating the Islamic Caliphate.

He also posted videos of the towns and villages that ISIL occupied in Syria and Iraq, calling on young people to click on them to see how secure and stable these places are under ISIL.

And he posted conversations he had with young people who have declared the jihad and went to Syria and Iraq, including jihadists from Europe and Canada, and showed videos of operations they carried out against Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
