Former VP Mohamed ElBaradei has criticized the new Israeli citizenship law, which made Israel a country for "Jewish people" and changed the status of Arabic from an official language to one of "specific status."
On Twitter, ElBaradei said, “Israeli Arabs turning into 2nd class citizens in "state of the Jewish ppl," Arabic downgraded to "special status". Ghettoization is time bomb" [sic].
