Temperatures in Egypt to remain constant over next five days

Egypt’s will witness normal temperatures over the coming five days, Head of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) Analysis and Forecast Center Mahmoud Shahin said on Monday, while temperatures will change during the following week.

Shahin predicted that current high humidity levels will continue, followed by increasing temperatures at the end of July.

Shahin asserted that the country has not yet witnessed increasing temperatures in June and July.

Moderately hot temperatures will hit Cairo and Lower Egypt on Monday, with moderate temperatures on the northern coast and very hot temperatures in South Sinai and Upper Egypt.

Maximum temperatures expected for the following areas are: 35C in Cairo, 30C on the northern coasts, 38C in South Sinai, and ranging between 40C and 42C in Upper Egypt.

Mist will be dense on roads close to bodies of water and agricultural areas during the late hours and early morning.
