Giza security found what appeared to be a bomb on Friday morning that was placed on Orabi Street, Mohandiseen, with a sign that said “beware of explosion.”
The object was placed near a police checkpoint and did not contain explosive material, as authorities say it was only meant to cause panic.
Another bomb was found and defused near the Eastern Tobacco Company in Haram. Authorities believe the Muslim Brotherhood placed it there after protesting in the area.
