Three people were killed and 10 others were injured in a fire that broke out inside a psychiatric clinic, “Al-Salim Center” for addiction treatment located in Shorouk City, Cairo.
Authorities moved to the scene of the fire after the Cairo Security Directorate received a notification from the Rescue Operations Room.
Five fire engines were dispatched and the fire was put under control.
The initial inspection revealed that the hospital’s fire resulted in the suffocation of three people inside the clinic.
