CAIRO, Oct 30 (MENA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates is closely following up on ongoing developments in the United Republic of Tanzania, said Haddad Abdel Tawab el Gohary, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad.

The ministry is continuously monitoring the conditions of the Egyptian community in Tanzania in coordination with the Egyptian Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Gohary said in statements on Thursday.

The foreign ministry urges Egyptian nationals residing in various Tanzanian cities to exercise the utmost caution and remain in their places of residence, as well as to avoid unnecessary movements and limit them to the times announced by the competent Tanzanian authorities, he added.

The assistant foreign minister affirmed that members of the Egyptian community in Tanzania can, in cases of necessity or emergency, contact staffers of the Egyptian Embassy in Dar es Salaam for any possible assistance or support. (MENA)
