French President Emmanuel Macron assured that “We will work to deploy a UN force in the Gaza Strip, and we will help train Palestinian security forces to maintain internal security.”
Speaking to Al Jazeera on Monday, he said: “This is a historic day, and we have stages ahead of us that must be addressed, and only one person could have stopped Netanyahu, and that is Trump.”
“President Trump’s visit to the Knesset was very important, and the American plan calls for the deployment of a force of 500 personnel in Gaza, but we may need 1,000. The Gaza Strip needs 1,000 aid trucks per day, not just 500,” he added.
