Gold prices decreased in the Egyptian market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching LE897 per gram.
Each type of gold decreased by 15 to 20 pounds, after a rise was recorded on Tuesday due in part to Valentine’s Day.
18-karat gold decreased to LE672 per gram, and 21-karat gold dropped to LE785.
Gold prices in the global market continue to decline since peaking on February 10 at US$1,855.82 per ounce. The global price per ounce on Wednesday was recorded at US$1,786.43.
