Hezbollah executes largest 24-hour strike to date: 600 rockets and drones target Israel amid rising death toll

Hezbollah has launched its largest offensive against Israel within the last 24 hours since the current escalation began, disclosing dozens of operations targeting the occupying state.

The group announced the execution of 93 attacks on Israeli targets over the past few hours. An Al Jazeera correspondent in Lebanon noted that this volume of strikes represents the highest number of operations carried out in a single day since March 2nd.

According to official statements from Hezbollah, the correspondent detailed that the operations utilized a combination of rockets, anti-armor missiles, and one-way attack drones (suicide drones). The strikes were also accompanied by efforts to repel Israeli infiltration and ground incursion attempts.

In a series of consecutive statements, Hezbollah reported striking Israeli forces, vehicles, and headquarters—including the Ministry of Defense and the Northern Command of the IDF—using a combination of rockets and drones.

The group further claimed to have targeted 16 settlements, 17 military sites, 27 IDF troop concentrations, and 28 Merkava tanks.

Additionally, Hezbollah noted five separate engagements involving light and medium weaponry against Israeli forces in the city of Khiam and the towns of Deir Siriane, Al-Qantara, and Naqoura in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Israel 24 reported that Hezbollah launched approximately 600 rockets and drones within a 24-hour period, the majority of which targeted Israeli military positions in southern Lebanon.

On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the deaths of two soldiers and the injury of four others, including two officers, during ongoing combat in southern Lebanon. Concurrently, one Israeli civilian was killed and 35 others were injured following attacks launched from both Iran and Lebanon.
