High school students protest difficult exams in Gharbiya

On Thursday, dozens of high school students in Gharbiya province besieged the province’s administration building in protest of "difficult exams, especially the English test."

Students shouted angry slogans and raised banners. Some of them were calling for a curve of grades.

The events took place in the city of Tanta.

Police attempted to disperse the students, but in vain.

Some protesters blocked Al-Bahr street and prevented vehicles from passing, which prompted police to fire teargas bombs to disperse them.
