Hot weather expected for Monday, Cairo: 32C

Meteorologists expect hot weather on Monday along the northwestern coast while anticipating hotter temperatures to prevail on the eastern coasts. Very hot weather is expected for the rest of the country during daylight hours.

Cold temperatures will dominate the country overnight.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast and the Suez Canal cities.

Winds are anticipated to be moderate and southwesterly in direction, mostly being active in the north

Storms are expected for the western Mediterranean, disturbing maritime navigations.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 and 1.5 meter with southwesterly surface winds in both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 32C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 34C in Qena, 35C in Luxor, and 35C in Aswan.
