Hot weather expected for Wednesday, Cairo: 38C

 

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates hot weather on Wednesday, across the North coast, Lower Egypt and Cairo.

The highest temperatures are expected for the country’s southern parts during the daylight hours, growing milder by night.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities; 32C in Alexandria, 38C in Cairo, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning, and low-level clouds are expected to appear in north of the country.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and mild, active on the western coasts.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while the waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters.

Surface winds on both seas will be northwestern.
