Hot weather on Saturday, Cairo: 37C

Meteorologists are predicting hot temperatures in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the north of Upper Egypt on Saturday, with more moderate weather along the Mediterranean coast.

The south of Upper Egypt will reach the highest temperatures, particularly in daylight, although it will notably cool down at night.

Temperatures expected for specific cities include 32C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 42C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.

Morning mist will affect visibility across northern parts of the country, where low-level clouds are also expected.

Meanwhile, winds are predicted to be northwestern and moderate, with activity in South Sinai, and the Gulf of Suez. The winds will possibly disrupt navigation in the Red Sea.

Mediterranean waves will be low, ranging from 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will range from 1.5 to 2 meters, with northwestern surface winds in both seas.
