Hotter weather expected for Wednesday, Cairo: 34C

The Egyptian Metrological Authority expects increased temperatures across the country on Wednesday. Hot weather will dominate the northern coast and the temperature will be hotter across the remaining parts of the country.

Cold weather is expected across the country overnight.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast and in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.

Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north.

Moderate winds are anticipated to be mostly southwesterly in direction and active in the western regions, accompanied by sands and dusts.

Waves in both the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be light to moderate and range between 1 and 1.5 meters high with southeasterly surface winds in both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 34C in Cairo, 31C in Alexandria, 38C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 38C in Aswan.
