Hurghada hotels full during Eid al-Fitr vacation

Hotels and tourist resorts in Hurghada saw full occupancy rates during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, as thousands of Egyptians and their families spent their Eid vacation amid precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Hotels operated with a maximum capacity of 50 percent.

Meanwhile, the Marsa Alam International Airport received 15 international tourist flights – including 10 from Polish airports – part of a total 48 international flights received this week, according to the flight operating schedule at Marsa Alam International Airport.

Flights on Saturday began with the arrival of three planes from Prague and the Czech Republic, followed by 10 flights from Poland, then a flight from Moldova and another from Ukraine.

Precautionary measures are being taken to confront the emerging coronavirus and not allow any tourist to enter until after confirming negative for the coronavirus by analyzing PCR test results.
