Iranian missile strikes in Beersheba injures 17 Israelis

At least 17 people were injured on Monday after an Iranian missile struck the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

Medical officials reported that while most sustained minor injuries or were treated for acute anxiety, one individual remains in moderate condition.

Air raid sirens tore through Tel Aviv and its surrounding suburbs at midday as explosions rocked central Israel.

Reports confirmed a direct hit near Ben Gurion Airport in the Yehud district, causing significant structural damage.

Two additional missiles impacted central and southern regions, while another struck near Ofakim in the Western Negev.

The bombardment triggered a rolling wave of sirens across the country.

Following the midday strikes, fresh alerts were activated in settlements across the southern West Bank and the Negev, as well as northern hubs including Haifa and the Galilee.

The latest wave of attacks follows a deadly Sunday, where Hebrew media sources confirmed nine fatalities and 36 injuries in Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem.

Two of those injured on Sunday remain in critical condition.
