The Public Prosecution summoned eyewitnesses from the victim’s neighbors to testify.
Security forces at the Alexandria Security Directorate received a report from the Raml Police Station reporting a shooting incident in the Gianaclis area.
Authoritie from the Raml Police Station immediately headed to the scene.
Investigations revealed the wife’s body lying on the floor of the apartment, fully clothed, and the presence of her husband with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A service pistol was also found at the crime scene.
The examination of the body revealed three gunshot wounds, with entry and exit holes and burn marks, suggesting they were fired from close range.
