Labor Minister underscores need to strengthen partnership with private sector

Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad reaffirmed on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the government’s commitment to enhancing its partnership with the private sector, saying stable employment and safe working conditions are key to sustaining production and attracting investment.

During a visit to Rameda Pharmaceuticals in the industrial zone of 6th of October City, Raddad toured the company’s production lines and reviewed its manufacturing processes, quality control systems and advanced technologies, highlighting the firm’s role in supporting local pharmaceutical production and Egypt’s drug security strategy.

The minister also inspected the company’s on-site childcare facility, praising its contribution to improving employees’ work environment and social welfare.

During the visit, Raddad oversaw the distribution of 17 employment contracts for people with disabilities at Rameda and 90 additional contracts at other companies, alongside training certificates for workers.

He also witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Labor Ministry and Rameda to enhance vocational training and workforce development in line with labor market needs.
