LE50,000 fine upheld for 68 defendants charged in Tahrir Square violence

The Qasr al-Nil Misdemeanor Court upheld on Sunday a LE50,000 fine for each of the 68 defendants charged with violent acts in Tahrir Square
on the fourth anniversary of the January 25 revolution.
 
They are also charged with inciting riots, blocking roads, thuggery, resisting arrest and breaching the protest law.
