Liverpool FC thrashes Crystal Palace 4-0, moving closer to winning Premier League title

Liverpool Football Club thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday, allowing the team to move ever closer to winning the English 2019/20 Premier League title.

Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a goal at the 23-minute mark, while Egyptian striker Mohammed Salah scored at 44 minutes of play.

Sadio Mané and Fábio Henrique Tavares (known as Fabinho), meanwhile, scored the third and fourth goals.

Liverpool is currently leading the Premier League by 81 points, and needs only two more points to win the Premier League title.

Winning the title would be a significant achievement for Mo Salah, adding to his previous achievements, including winning the UEFA Champions League and the FIFIA Club World Cup with Liverpool.

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in May celebrated Salah’s achievements by awarding him the Golden Boot for having scored 22 Premier League goals in the 2019/20 season.
