
Luxor’s Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the China Communications Operators Association to cooperate in telecommunications and technology fields.
The agreement was signed during a workshop attended by Luxor Deputy Governor Hisham Abu Zeid and Chamber of Commerce Chairman Yehia Mohamed. The cooperation aims to strengthen economic and investment ties and exchange expertise in communications and modern technology.
According to a statement from Luxor governorate, the partnership includes organizing workshops and training activities on communication technologies and digital transformation to support the development of local companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.
Abu Zeid said such cooperation contributes to Egypt’s digital transformation efforts and can help transfer modern technologies to the local market, opening opportunities for economic development in Luxor and Upper Egypt.
