Meshaal says that Hamas will take revenge against Israel for Sudan factory bombing

Khaled Meshaal, head of Hamas's political bureau, said that that the movement will "take vengeance against Israel on behalf of Sudan in response to Israel's attack on theYarmouk factory," an armaments factory that was allegedly attacked by Israel last month.

"Soon you will hear good news," Sudan's state-run SUNA news agency quoted Khaled Meshaal as saying after finishing the Friday’s prayer.

The bombing at the Yarmouk factory wasn’t the only alleged Israeli attack against Sudan.

In May, Khartoum said one person was killed after a car exploded in the eastern city of Port Sudan. It said the explosion resembled a blast last year that it had blamed on an Israeli missile strike.

"The time of the Israel's triumph over the Arabs has ended," he added.

Meshaal is currently in Sudan where he is attending the 8th General Conference of Sudanese Islamic Movement in Khartoum.

On Thursday he delivered an opening speech in which he condemned the killing of military commander Ahmed al-Jaabari and vowed to continue the "resistance" against Israel.

In his Friday’s remarks Meshaal praised Prime Minister Hisham Qandil's visit to Gaza saying it was a prelude to attracting the real attention of Arab leaders.
