The General Authority of Meteorology (EMA) has revealed the expected weather conditions and temperatures for Cairo and the other governorates, issuing a warning about atmospheric fluctuations across several regions.
The weather is expected to start out tending to be cool in the early morning.
During the daytime, conditions will be moderate across most regions, though it will be hot in Southern Upper Egypt and tending to be hot in Southern Sinai.
The evening will begin moderately warm, transitioning to cooler temperatures late at night. Specifically, the capital, Cairo, is forecast to see a maximum temperature of 25°C and a minimum of 17°C.
The weather maps warn of water mist/fog formation in the morning across Northern Egypt, extending to Greater Cairo, Northern Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai. This mist may be dense at times on certain roads.
The EMA announced the map for rainfall, indicating:
- Possible thunderstorms accompanied by hail in areas of the Northern Coasts and Northern Lower Egypt.
- Chances of light rain—which may occasionally be moderate and thundery—in parts of Southern Lower Egypt and in Halayeb and Shalateen.
- The rain will extend to parts of Greater Cairo and the Canal Cities as light rain in the evening, on intermittent periods.
Weather maps also recorded active winds in areas of the Western Coasts and Southern Egypt intermittently.
