Metro Co. will not fine citizens who play religious audio on metro

Ahmed Abdel Hadi, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation, refuted rumors about imposing a fine of LE500 on those who play Quran audios and religious sermons loudly in the metro during the holy month of Ramadan or other months.

He stressed that the rumor is baseless and called on media to maintain accuracy to avoid confusion about the metro, a vital facility that serves millions of citizens daily.
