
Giza security forces revealed the exact circumstances behind controversial videos shared online showing a microbus in the Giza Governorate displaying offensive banners, including “Long Live Israel”.
The security forces successfully identified the vehicle and arrested its driver, a resident of al-Warraq district.
During questioning, the suspect confessed to committing the act on September 4 while on tour in Imbaba district.
He explained that he used flashlights equipped with LED screens, controlled via a mobile phone application, to display the messages, claiming it was a prank on his fellow drivers in the parking lot.
The vehicle was impounded, a report was filed, and the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
