Mildly hot weather for Tuesday, temperatures to begin falling Wednesday across Egypt

Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather during the daytime on Tuesday at Cairo and Lower Egypt with moderate weather on the northern coasts, while temperatures are predicted to start falling on Wednesday as the autumn season begins.

Light rains are expected on the northwestern coasts, with occasionally thunderous weather on South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C at the northwestern coasts, 30C at the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 34C in Greater Cairo, 33C in Lower Egypt, 38C in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, 37C in northern Upper Egypt and 42C in southern Upper Egypt.

Winds will be active on South Sinai, disturbing maritime navigation.

Minimum and maximum humidity levels expected are: Greater Cairo 25-70 percent, the Lower Egypt 28-75 percent, the northwestern coasts 45-80 percent, the northeastern coast and center of Sinai 45-80 percent, South Sinai and the Red Sea Mountains 30-70 percent, northern Upper Egypt 22-60 percent, southern Upper Egypt 14-30.
