Moderate temperatures on Friday, Cairo 20C: EMA

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects moderate weather on Friday across the northern parts of Egypt, and northern regions of Upper Egypt.

Warmer weather is predicted in the south during daylight hours, with cold temperatures across all regions throughout the night, leading to formation of frost on plants in Center of Sinai.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning across the country’s northern parts and the north of Upper Egypt. Low and medium level cloud cover is expected across the north.

The EMA anticipates winds to be moderate, carrying sands and dusts across western parts of the country.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range from 1.5 to 2 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly over the Sea. Waves will range between 1 to 1.5 meters in the Red Sea. Surface winds will be northeasterly in the Red Sea.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 20C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 24C in Qena, 25C in Luxor, and 26C in Aswan.
