Warm temperatures, light rain expected across Egypt on Wednesday and Thursday

Temperatures across Egypt on Wednesday are predicted to remain warm, with the weather cooling down just along the northwest coast.

Scattered showers will fall in the Delta Governorates (30 percent), while heavier rains will fall along the northwest coast (50 percent) and the northeast coast (60 percent).

As the sun sets on Wednesday, Cairo, the Delta Governorates, and northern Upper Egypt will grow cold. Overnight temperatures will stay cool along the North Coast, in South Sinai and in southern Upper Egypt.

Active winds will blow across North Sinai and the North Coast, disturbing maritime navigation.

– Delta Governorates: 26C

– The North Coast and Central Sinai: 25C

– South Sinai and Red Sea mountains: 29C

Thursday will be slightly cooler than Wednesday during the day.

Cairo will witness light rain (30 percent), while heavier showers will fall on the Delta Governorates (40 percent) and the North Coast (50 percent).

Overnight temperatures will stay mild along North Coast and in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, with Cairo and the Delta Governorates growing cold.

Moderate winds will blow across Cairo, the Delta Governorates, and the northeast coast all day. Stronger winds in South Sinai and the northwest coast may disturb the maritime navigation.
