Moderate temperatures to prevail across Egypt on Friday: EMA

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail across the northern coasts as well as the northern areas of Upper Egypt on Friday. Warm weather is expected in the South of Upper Egypt during daylight hours, and cold weather is expected at night at night.

Mist will affect visibility on Friday morning morning in different parts of the north of the country. Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted across the North Coast and Lower Egypt.

Winds are anticipated to be mostly northeasterly and moderate in strength.

Meanwhile, waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters with southwesterly surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea are expected to be rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height with northeasterly surface winds.

Maximum temperatures predicted to be 20C in Cairo, 20C in Alexandria, 22C in Sharm el-Sheik, 23C in Qena, 24C in Luxor, and 33C in Aswan.
