Moderate weather, rains expected for Tuesday

Meteorologists predict rains across  Lower Egypt, Cairo, Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and Halayeb and Shalateen for Tuesday, while heavy rains are expected for the north of the country.

Moderate weather is expected for Egypt’s northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo, and moderately hot weather in northern Upper Egypt and hot weather in southern Upper Egypt during the daytime are predicted.

The weather will grow colder at night throughout the country.

Temperatures predicted are 27C in Alexandria, 29C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, 35C in Luxor, and 36C in Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium- level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and active on South Sinai, possibly disturbing maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and will range between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northeastern to northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate and will range between one and 1.5 meters with northwestern surface winds.
