Mohamed Salah nominated again for Europe Champions League best player

The Union of the European Football Associations (UEFA) has unveiled the list of nominees for the award of the best player of the third round of the Champions League. The list includes Egyptian Liverpool player Mohamed Salah.

Salah joined the list of nominees for the second time.

Salah led Liverpool to a 7-0 win over Sylvania’s Maribor, causing the Reds to go top of Champions League Group E. Salah scored two goals during the match and contributed in Liverpool’s historic win.

The Egyptian star competes with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, who scored one goal and made another in the Catalan team’s 3-1 victory over Olympiacos, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored against Tottenham Hotspur in the 1-1 draw, Chelsea’s striker Eden Hazard, who scored two goals in the 3-0 win over Italy’s Roma, and Brazil’s Neymar, who scored a goal in the Paris St Germain 4-0 victory over the Belgian Anderlecht.
