More than 13,000 judges supervise referendum in 30,000 polling stations

Chancellor Medhat Idris of the High Elections Committee (HEC) has said that 13,867 judges are supervising the referendum on the Constitution on 14 and 15 January in 30,000 polling stations.

Idris also said that there are 352 general electoral committees that collect the results from the sub-committees in all governorates and send them to the HEC.

“The heads of the sub-committees will receive from the courts of first instance the forms and the phosphorescent ink on 12 and 13 January,” he said. “Each polling station will take a maximum of 2,000 voters so as to facilitate the voting process.”
