The Moroccan Interior Ministry announced on Saturday that the number of victims of the earthquake had risen to 2,012 dead and 2,059 injured, with 1,404 in serious condition.

Morocco’s King Mohammed VI ordered three days of national mourning, as he chaired a working session to discuss the situation following the earthquake which has left massive losses.
