Marian Fouad crowned Miss Alexandria 2015

The Miss Alexandria 2015 competition crowned a new winner Saturday. Marian Fouad beat 1,500 other competitors to get the title.
 
Fouad, 22, is a graduate from the Arts Department at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
 
She was crowned on Saturday evening at a ceremony in a famous Alexandria hotel to stimulate tourism in the area, as well as to highlight Alexandria's aesthetic and cultural values.
 
The 15 finals participated in several events during the competition, such as the sportswear competition, the evening dress competition and the arbitrators' questions.
 
Based on the competitors' performance, the winners were as follows: first runner-up Jura Mohamed, second runner-up Judy Mansouri, and Miss Tourism Nashwa Elian.
 
Fouad won over the jury and the public through her beauty, grace, intellect and culture, as well as her vision of life and her future plans, making her the most recent Miss Alexandria.
 
Fouad will represent Egypt in the Tourism Miss World contest 2015.
 
Miss England 2014, Miss Russia 2012, the US ambassador in Alexandria, the British ambassador in Alexandria, the ambassador of China and many other public figures attended the ceremony.
